October 10, 2025 – part of Kulturnatten
The family exhibition Connections investigates patterns of inheritance and circuits in a contemporary context marked by reflection on our cultural heritage and breaks with previous generations. Together with her mother, visual artist Tine Meyer, and her sister, opera singer Katinka Meyer, Rebekka Meyer explores patterns of inheritance and networks—both as digital circuits, biological structures, and cultural transmissions. The exhibition is a combination of Tine Meyer’s oil paintings, in which digital circuits are transformed into organic patterns, with Rebekka Meyer’s sound compositions and Katinka Meyer’s live singing.
The exhibition with electronic sound can be experienced throughout the evening in the bunker’s adjoining spaces at Rolfsvej 10, ground floor right. The exhibition features 2 live performances of about 20 minutes at 19:00 and 21:00. The live performances interact with the paintings and consist of songs performed by opera singer Katinka Meyer.

Tine Meyer is a Danish artist with an education from Ecole nationale superieure des beaux-arts in Paris and the Danish School of Design.Throughout her practice, she has worked with patterns—from Islamic and nature’s geometric structures to the digital patterns found in circuit boards and programming codes.
Katinka Bohse Meyer is a soprano whose repertoire ranges from classical lyric music to advanced newly composed music. She is trained at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and the Opera School at HMDK Stuttgart, and has sung roles such as Rosalinde in Die Fledermaus, Giulietta in Giulietta e Romeo, and the Death’s Companion in the VR-opera MORTALITIES in Denmark, Germany, and Japan.
Rebekka Meyer creates and produces experimental opera and sound-based, audience-engaging performances. As director and concept-creator she, in collaboration with composers, combines research, sound, performance and new technology such as her VR-opera MORTALITIES. However, she also composes her own sound works which can be experienced as culture night.
